Cheesy Chive Dip

Creamy, dreamy, & only 5 ingredients!

GF. V. SF.


1 cup slivered almonds (pre-soak overnight if you aren't using a Vitamix or high power blender)

2 tbsp nutritional yeast

6 chives - roughly chopped

1 tsp salt

3/4 cup vegetable broth



Toss everything in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth

Scrape down the sides of the blender periodically to combine all of the ingredients

Add another splash of broth to get things going if the blades get stuck

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until serving time

Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil, extra chopped chives, and edible flowers for maximum fanciness (I get mine from Aromatic Acres!)

Fantastic on crusty bread, warm pasta, a sandwich, and it even tastes great on a cracka! (bonus points if you know the reference)


Vicious Variations:

Try this with any fresh herb in place of chives - basil, rosemary, parsley, loveage, oh my!

Add a couple sun dried tomatoes to the blender for a bold, and almost pizza like flavor
